I agree. Along with outdated mask tools, insufficient scaling algorithms, non-integrated color correction is a main weak point for me.

I hope the above can be addressed in the next version but I am not holding my breath.

From the underwhelming response to this post, I suspect this is an area of apathy or denial at COW.

Hard to believe it’s simple apathy considering how central color correction and more (roto tools, etc that you mentioned) are to most kinds of real professional After Effects assigments.

Puzzling.
