A few questions and thanks in advance
You guys always save my bacon, thank you all for your help. I’ve made the jump from 4.5 to 5 and have a few questions … concerns.
1. I’ve read the postings about the rough skipping in the viewer window while controlling with JKL commands, Has Apple initiated an answer to this?
2. In my fcp5, whenever I double click on the timeline or viewer window, I get either a weird green half screen or if there are multiple video sources, several of them simply black out. I can begin a render and they’ll come right back, but what is causing this? Even after restarts & clearing RAM. Hmmm?
3. Where is my mp2 compressor in the FCP export. I know I can go through compressor, but most of the time I’m making client story dubs, so I need long shows compressed quickly and the old QT compressor in FCP4.5 worked great. Where is that? I’d hate to add an additional step to this lengthy process.
