A few questions…
I am posting a few questions to see if anyone can jump in and help answer them.
Some will be basic others will be wishes.
I want to start with a simple one.
I have numerous bins in a project.
When I do a search, why does Premiere have to show all the folders that are not involved with the file Im looking for?
I find this cumbersome most of the time.
A tougher on, is there a better way of collapsing video during clean-up.
I started cutting and moving video tracks into a single one and would like a much quicker option.
Blade then move is way too tedious. Mind you this is an inherited project so I know that I would have never subjected anyone to this kind of set-up.
Also is there a way to merge clips that have been cut within a track?
This is quite the pain when going back into XML for other workflows one being import XML into REDCINE and notice that one clip has to instances.
I will be adding more and if anyone wants to add their own question go for it. -

After a few days into this project I am finding that Premiere needs to adopt some helpful functions from other apps.
Besides the merge clip into lower track a “open in timeline” option would really help when doing quick and dirty audio tricks.
I know I could use nesting but that takes a bit more steps and it doesn’t transfer well to other apps during XML export. -
Adding to my list.
Is there a way to remove all transforms with one click in Premiere.
Received a project with over 1500 edits and I’m not about to sit through each clip too see what was transformed. -
Select all – right click – remove effects
