    hi,
we plan to archive clips from old betasp tapes. we want to put dvcpro50 files to a hard disc. the problem is: it has to be platform-independent. On our macs we can use quicktime to encode or capture the files as well as we can watch the clips on the desktop. but most of the computers here are windows based. is there a free dvcpro50 codec for windows? as far as I know quicktime for windows doesn’t have it.
    any help is appreciated
