    Hi, sorry for my english.
I have a problem, I need to automatically capture (using a batch list)some clip video from a dvd into final cut.
I don’t know if and how it is possible.
If it’s possible, I need to buy a specific capture hardware? Or I must buy some other software?
    Thanks

    You don’t need any hardware.
Use MPGstreamclip (free) to convert the MPEG-2 files from the DVD to a format that you can edit in FC.
The best options are Prores and 8b Uncompressed.
Copy the VIDEO_TS folder on your hard drive and run MPGStreamclip.
If you can’t copy the VIDEO_TS folder on your computer, probably the DVDs are protected. In that case you will need something like MacTheRipper to copy the folder.
