854×480 – square pixels
Hi!
When I open Motion it asks for a format DV 720×480 etc… If you making graphics for a 720×480 anamorphic video format what should you set Motion to?
I don’t see that as a choice. I don’t see any 16:9 format. A week ago I was toldthat 854×480 square pixels was the way to create the best looking graphics for 16:9. How do you do that in Motion?

In the presets drop down menu select “custom” at the bottom. With all the ntsc settings already in there just change the pixel aspect ratio to “NTSC D1/DV Anamorphic”.
Then to view it properly in the canvas go to your “view” drop down menu and turn on “correct for aspect ratio”.
