    Hi,

I created an AFX project at 854 x 480 square pixel. This is supposed to be the correct make up for 16:9.

I rendered my animation and imported it into my 720×480 anamorphic sequence. The animation runs inside of Final Cut but does not run looping through my firewire deck to a monitor. It just freezes on the first frame.

Plus, it has to render in the sequence which is a time killer.

I am so confused about all of this.

    Thank you in advance.

you can render straight to 720×480 anamorphic… i would do this by dropping the 854×480 comp into a 720×480 anamorphic comp and rendering that comp. but since you have the rendered footage, you could simply drop that into a 720×480 anamorphic comp and render.

take that into your nle and see how it handles anamorphic footage…
