    The books are very vague. Can I output to SDI material that was ingested as analog. Can you point me to additional M100 material. Kind Regards, Chris K

    Hi Chris,

    SDI is just another output, like firewire, or analogue (though obviously it doesn’t have to go through a D-A). Once it is in the media 100, any media, regardless of its origin, is output simultaneously through the SDI and analogue outputs.

    The only difference is that the SDI output is full range (0-255) whilst the analogue is clamped to legal range (16-235).
