7D Workflow Finishing: ProRes Proxy > upres back
Hi everyone,
Using the EOS Plug-in with FCP, I transcoded my 7D H.264 footage into an Apple Pro Res 422 (Proxy) codec. This is to make the editing in FCP smoother…since H.264 freaks final cut out
Once the editing is done, there’s got to be a way to upres back to the original 7D footage. Right? Hence why I started this workflow in the first place.
Somebody help a brotha out!

don’t change the naming of the files when transcoding, or keep the original file name in the new file name.
Just one less headache to worry about.
