looking for a way to see “time and date” running in processed footage. I have a client that needs to see time and date stamp for legally processed footage. Is there anyway to see this and have it show up on screen for footage that has been processed from native files, then edited, and made into a quicktime file? The legal world needs this function.

Latest version of QTchange can do a very fast TC/reelname insertion.
    (close to instant)
TC is the same as time, taken from the file creation time or .THM file, and if you set the Reelname to the date, you’re there.

What it does is creating a QT text track. Not all applications will display it, but Quicktime does, and so does Compressor.

So, after adding the date / time, convert the files to Prores or any other editing codec, and the date / time will be burned in forever.
