7D audio sync issues.
I Recorded several interviews recently using the Canon 7D, which captured the audio at 48khz and 16 bit integer.
I recorded the audio separately with the H4n Zoom, which was accidentally set to record at 44.1khz.
When I try and sync them up in final cut they stay in time for a while and then drift apart. I have tried to resample the audio to 48khz and final cut tells me that my files are now 48khz, but the synce issue remains.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

As Kevin says, you have to change the sample rate outside of FCP. You can use ST Pro, QT Pro, Compressor, MPEG Streamclip, etc.

I have had the same problem. Shooting on the D7 at 25fps but recording audio at 44.1. I have tried to re-sample outside of FCP and it still drifts. Would be great if anyone could tell me where I’ve gone wrong
