I shot 720pn with the scene cine v. I went into record setup and just set record for 720pn 24fps. I didn’t change any sound input. My default is 48Khz, 16bit.

When I imported the P2 data into FCP 5, the time line wants me to render the video and sound. After I stared up FCP, I used easy setup to HD 720 24FPS.

Is there any reason why this footage just didn’t drop in without needing to be rendered? I have a G4 and just use the P2 card via the card slot.

When I used function Cine V, does it change any additional settings?

    G5, 1.7, 4MB RAM, 30″cine, G4, 1.6 2MB RAM, Mbox, Neumann TLM-103, FCP HD 5. Pro Tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Reason 3.0, Macromedia Studio, ProAnimator, HVX200 with Firestore v4.0
