I can’t get AJA or Blackmagic output with DVCPRO HD 720P 50 footage from Premiere CS5.5 Mac.
I’ve tried it on different systems with AJA Express and one with a BMD Intensity.
The P2 720P50 material DOES output from source monitor, but not from the Sequence.
There’s no Realtime Playback option in the sequence settings. External Device says NONE.

Latest CS5.5, latest AJA plugin or Blackmagic drivers. 10.6.8

Anyone tried this and got it to work?

    Thanks,

    Paul

It’s a different way of thinking compared to FCP with I/O devices.
In Adobe the type of sequence determines the I/O.
In FCP , you have to match the Video Playback settings to whatever sequence you have.

It’s a matter of choosing the proper Blackmagic or AJA Sequence in Premiere before editing.
This way i got it to work.
