    Hi,

I need to work in a FCP DVCPROHD 720 24p project, but my source material is TGA image sequences that actually are at 24 fps. The FCP preset for 720p24 seems to rely on a 60p stream with frame removal data as generated by the Varicam.
Can anyone tell me if there’s a way around this?

    Much appreciated!

Hmmm…I use that same preset for my footage shot on the HVX-200 at 24PN…24 full frames of video with no pulldown to remove…and it works fine.

Is something happening that you aren’t expecting?

No, it just works with 24 frames. It doesn’t rely on any sort of frame removal from the Varicam.
