I’ve shot a short on DVCPROHD 720p24, color corrected it on an Avid Symphony, and I would like to master to HDCAMSR because of the 8 channels of audio.

As far as I know, that would mean bumping up to 1080p. Does anyone know if that upres can happen straight out of the Avid, and is some kind of special hardware required to make that possible?

    Thanks for your help.

Symphony Nitris can upconvert to 1080 (or downconvert to standards-def) during Digital Cut.

On which version of Symphony Nitris? I’m on 1.6.4.

Will it do it on the fly? Is there a special setting to make it do that? Because the Digital Cut tool is what it is. There is no option for up convert.
