720p down conversion to PAL not working
Hi everbody,
I was thrilled about the decklink 6.0 driver when it announcend the support for 720p50 downconversion to PAL.
Unfortunately it doesnt work and the 6.1 upgrade didn’t fix it either.
I work on a Final Cut Pro 5.1.4 System. We have done serveral 720p projects now, but we had to preview them all on our Computer Monitor via Cinema Display Preview. It would be great to finally be able to preview on a PAL Monitor.
1080 is still no problem and works well, but I don’t get a 720p Project to show on a PAL Monitor. This would be a crucial feature for grading work.
There is not even a setting for 720p50: The only settings are Decklink 720p 59,94Hz 10 bit and 8bit. Both only deliver a still on the Monitor, but no moving picture.
Does anyone know a slotion to this.Thanks for any ideas.

720 50p is supported but not 25p
to make a 50p timeline in FCP is bit tricky and even then I do not know if it works – but if you open 720 50p clip it plays fine (have not tested the down conversion)
