720P 60fps – how to play back in slow motion?
Hi, I shot some footage on the EX-1 at 720P 60 fps. In the bin, in final cutp Pro, the clip info says 720P at 59.94 fps. I did not shoot in S&Q motion. When I put it on a timeline at 23.98, it plays at normal speed, not in slow motion as I expect. So what am I doing wrong, and/or how do I make this slowmotion? Do I have to do a speed change on the clips and render them?

How to make 720p60 footage into smooth slow motion. The EXACT issue you are having. But, bear in mind, this doesn’t work for GOP formats…like XDCAM. You need to convert the footage to ProRes, THEN use this tip.
