Hi, I’m sorry if this question is repetitive, but I can’t seem to find a clear direct explanation elsewhere (if there is, could you please direct me to it?)
I just purchased the HVX 200, but I’m still not clear of the difference between 720 30p vs. 720 60p. I know that you can assign different framerates to each of these recording modes, but the actual pros and cons (visually and post-production wise) are still not clear.
Another question I have is: if I shoot at 720 24PN (which gives me more space on my P2) with a frame rate of 24p, edit that in its appropiate sequence in FCP (no rendering required on the timeline) and then output via a Kona LH card, would that pose any problems if I wanted to output via SDI to an HD or SD deck for “regular” 29.97 NTSC? I haven’t actually tried it yet, but would like to know someone’s opinions/suggestions regarding possible problems and workflow.
    Thanks,
    Mario
