720p 30 to 1080i 60
We had footage delivered to us in 720p 30. Our network delivery specs require DVC PRO HD 1080i 60. What’s the cleanest way to convert footage for this task. We’re using a G5 2.7ghz dual/5gb ram/FCP 6/AJA LH/ to a panasonic ajhd 1400 deck. Many thanks!

you say you have the kona-lh so that won’t help, but you
could convert it with compressor and it will probably be just fine.your content and what it needs to be are both 30 fps timebase so
no need to convert that, just use compressor and set the resizer
for highest quality, you may need to go one notch lower if it
says it will take several days to do it. quality will be close
to the same.
