720p 25 cannot preview with decklink HD
Posted by Dennis Yeung on October 4, 2006 at 3:37 pmHi I have a 720p 25 timeline, i can’t see anythings though blackmagic decklink HD, SD and HD both have no output, only still frame. Anyone can help? My OS is 10.4.8, FCP 5.1.2. Thanks a lot!!!

October 4, 2006 at 5:02 pmI have run into this with 720P, 60fps. I can’t view from the viewer, but if I put the clip on the timeline it plays.

The Blackmagic 720p25 Varicam easy setup that we install in to Final Cut Pro is for use with Varicam video. Apple have just added support for native 720p25 HDV video in Final Cut Pro 5.1.2 and we do not support 720p25 native playback via HD-SDI. However I have asked the engineers to add support for this format and I can’t promise anything but am hopefull it will be added.
