720p 24 Log and Capture
When using Log and Capture for 720P 24 from a GY-HD100, FCP creates new clips each time it detects a tape start/stop. At first I thought that would be kind of nice, but there is a delay of several seconds at the end of each clip while FCP writes to the disk. While it is writing, it is not capturing the next clip and the tape runs on… The material I am capturing has some very quick shots and I would like to capture all I can. Is there a better way to iport this material. I do have Lumiere HD if anyone thinks that might offer me a better bet.
