  720p 24 Import Issue

  Greetings,

  Any help on the would be great.

  I had someone shoot for me with the HVX200 and asked for them to shoot 24pn. The rental company said not to shoot that way but to shoot 24p 60 and set the camera up that way. I was sent both the P2 files and imported files that he put into his FCP system (5.1)and both don’t look correct. The footage imports with a heavy strobe affect and when you frame by frame a clip it has four still frames for every one moving frame (59.97 fps). I’ve upgraded to 5.1 and selected “remove frames” on importing the P2 files changing the files to 23.98 fps with less frames but the same results!

  We have done several shoots using the 24pn mode with great results but this one is makeing my hair fall out.
