  720/24p HDV export problem (all settings disclosed)

  Hello

  I have several projects currently that were captured as HDV 720/24p.

  I need to export a particular sequence to a file, so that I can do some additional work in Boris RED on another system (I have been working in PPro on a windows XP system; the Boris is on a Mac).

  What is the ideal codec to use to export 720/24p in this type of situation?
  In Adobe Media Encoder; I tried making a QuickTime with the HDTV 720 24p preset…
  …but QuickTime on the Mac didn’t like it.

  In other cases, when using the HDV 1080i standard, when I needed to export from PPro I would Export to Tape and then capture the resulting tape into the Mac.

  Apparently when working with HDV 720/24p this is sadly not an option…

  If you too have had this problem come up, please let me know how you resolved the problem.
