Activity Forums Compression Techniques 720 24p to 1080 60i question

I’ve got a project being mastered in 720p at 23.98, and the client needs one version upresed and retimed to 1080i 59.94 (Quicktime only, not to tape). When I’ve done this in the past, Compressor has created new in-between frames to make it 59.94 giving the image a very video feel, loosing the “look” of shooting 23.98. Is there a way to get Compressor to add a 3:2 pull instead of estimating new frames? (Sorry if I got my terms wrong with what compressor is actually doing.) I also have Episode, if it helps, but have not experimented with it.

    Thanks,
    Parke
