  720 24p FCP Capture and Sequence Settings

  I just shot my first project using the JVC GY-HD110. We shot using Sony HDV tapes and I will edit using Final Cut 6.0.2 and a 3.0 GHz iMac. I am also using the JVC GY-HD110 as my capture device.

  I realized I wasn’t 100% on what codecs I should use. Below are my be estimation.

  Seq: HDV-720p24 (23.98fps)
  Capture: HDV-Apple ProRes 422
  Device Control: HDV Firewire 24fps (I created this setting and changed the fps to 23.98 There was only a 25fps device setting.)
