7.1 surround?
Hi All,
I’m looking for some guidance on how to do this somewhat unusual project:
I’m making a piece to be displayed on Blu-Ray with 7.1 surround audio.
The video doesn’t even matter, in fact it would probably just be a black screen.
Now, according to the FCPX doc, 7.1 should be possible:

In fact, when setting the project audio to “surround” (in the project settings), it only gives you the 5.1 options in the audio channel configuration. (No left-back and right-back channels).Has anyone ever tried this?
Maybe it’s a matter of exporting multichannel roles?
Or perhaps this is more easily done in compressor (although I’m not sure how)
So, ANY info about working with 7.1 in the FCPX / Compressor ecosystem would be much appreciated.
