    It doesn’t actually go into AE — AE contains no codecs. Quicktime contains the codecs.

    It’s my understanding that AE 7 doesn’t recognize that codec, though you may have it in Quicktime. I believe that you need AE CS3.

    I had the same problem before upgrading to CS3.

    I found a solution, since I work with Blackmagic, I first had to delete the BM10bit codec from the QT Library and then the UC10bit Apple appeared in the list! The only problem is that I can’t use the BM Video Out in AE, grrrr ;o) So I will have to upgrade anyway…
