7.0.3 not updating
I’m trying to update 6.0.6 to 7.0.3 At first my OSX hard drive would not allow me to install 7.0.3 but I ran disk utility and repaired it now it appears to be there, but when I restart my computer and open up FCP its still stuck on 6.0.6.
Just wonder what I need to do.. thanks for your time!Thanks

FCP 7 is a separate application…part of Final Cut Studio 3. Whereas FCP 6 is part of Final Cut Studio 2. You need to first buy FCP 7 (Final Cut Studio 3), install that…THEN you can update to FCP 7.0.3.
Good luck finding FCP 7 though. It has been discontinued. Calling Apple direct or eBay are your only options.
