  6,500,000 maximum bit rate on Createspace?

  Under the Submission Requirements tab, they recommend a maximum total bitrate of 6,500,000, ‘for maximum compatibility.’

  >>In order to maximize playback compatibility, we recommend a maximum total bit rate for the combined video and audio tracks of 6.5 Mbp/s (megabits per second).

  Does that make sense? What if I have a shorter play length, with CBR 8,000,000? Do I really need to lower it to 6,500,000, or just leave it alone, as machines are getting stronger all the time?
