    Hi,

A simple question: Which version is better right now 6.5 or 7.0.3 for Mac?

I haven’t worked on Avid for a few years and I’m about to start a TV show. One person told me that 7.0.3 is a little buggy and that 6.5 is more stable. Is that true?

In general, when I can, I like to work with the latest version of anything. It’s good to be current! That being said, I don’t want to work on a buggy version.

Any insight as to where the latest version is at would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Trevor Ambrose

When 7 first came out it was a little buggy (Though surprisingly not bad for a .0 release) but I’m using 7.0.3 right now and I don’t notice anything abnormal in regards to crashes. I like it.

    I concur…7.0.3 is pretty solid.

Thanks Shane. You’re the third person in a row that has said that. I’m sold. 🙂

on both PC & Mac – just upgraded to 7.03 as well. Didnt notice a difference tween it and 6.5

    pretty solid overall

although trimming is still pretty clunky on both a nitris dx and blackmagic, something i hoped was gonna be fixed in 7.x
