    6.4 premiere monitor problem

    I am using XP and Premiere 1.5 and just installed the 6.4 drivers, and the output to tape is fine, however both of Premiere’s monitors show the same pixel across on each horizontal line, so basically garbage. If I don’t use a decklink preset the monitors work fine. Any suggestions.

    Can you be more specific? ex. The Source and PGM or are you talking about a dual monitor setup? The same Pixel – define.

    Hi.

    I had the same problem. Got 6.4 and installed it and in PPro 1.5.1 video window was as smeared or blurred horisontaliy so whole picture was like smeared lines from video. External monitor was fine but only PPro window was ruined. SO i got back to 6.2 and now it is all ok again.

    Hope it helps

    I remember before 6.2 i had the same problem or really similar with 6.1 with MJPG but now it seems like PPro 1.5 (or 1.5.1)
    has the same (similar) issues. It was solved in next release.
