I just loaded the 6.4 drivers on my Multibridge Extreme last night and now the computer is not seeing the PCIe card or bridge at all.

Was running 6.2 drivers and all was working well.

I have tried repairing permissions and also attempted to uninstall 6.4 and re-install 6.2. But when I run the 6.2 installer, it tells me that there is a more recent version already installed. So some component is not being removed when the uninstaller app is run.

Any ideas on how to move back to 6.2 or if I can fix 6.4?

I’m running a Multibridge Pro and when I upgraded from 6.2 to 6.3 all my Uncompressed projects would crash on playback. Nothing I could do would allow me to go back and undo the firmware “upgrade” that was then ruining my life. But I just upgraded to 6.4 and magically everything is back to normal. Your problem might have occured because the 6.4 drivers have fixes for things in the 6.3 drivers and you just skipped a step. Can you contact BMD direct and see if they can send you some drivers to patch your system?

I think that you are right. There is supposed to be a firmware update with 6.4 and my install did not ask to update firmware.

    Thanks for the info.

    I’m calling BMD right now.
