I have a Canon 60D. Some fluids leaked into the buttons on much of the body. When I put a fully charged battery in, the mini-screen in the top of the camera blinks ‘FULL’, ‘999’, and the battery symbol blinks as if it is empty. The rest of the camera does not turn on or function at all.

I can imagine, my only option is to send it to get repaired, or buy a new body if it cannot be fixed.

    Ideas?

Is it in warranty? Yup, you’ll need to buck up on that and send it in for repairs.
