I have the 60D from 3 weeks now, it’s great both in stills and video and I was using the external mike input both with a wireless and with a mixer OK, (you have to put the manual level to 0 and the to the very 1st step from left to have the right level). BUT today a problem developed using an external radio lapel radio receiver. The external input ceased to work, even when you plug a simple mini-jack it should interrupt the internal mike. NO LONGER. I cannot get an external input anymore. It always work with the internal mike… Anybody has experienced this kind of problem? Bug?? Weak socket?

That is not really a BUG, that sounds like the jack went bad. All you can do is to test out the equipment on another piece of equipment, if it works you have a bad mic jack.
