608/708 Closed Caption troubles
I need to create actual closed captions in adobe premiere pro 15.4.1 build 6. (most current as of 9/01/21). I have been able to get subtitles. (the text that is always visible). I’ve imported, and added the following file types- .scc, timed.xml, .srt, & .dfxp. I’ve added the .608 and .708 from the ‘sequence’ ‘new caption track’ many times. When I play my video from my edit pc into my closed caption encoder it says ‘No CC’, and I see subtitles not actual closed captions that can be turned off. Anyone else experience anything like this?
