Whatever bad things I have to say about the Creative Cloud subscription service and “renting” software, I gotta respect Adobe (Avid too) for issuing updates to older versions of their software, fixing bugs and making sure they work.

[Shane Ross] “, I gotta respect Adobe (Avid too) for issuing updates to older versions of their software, fixing bugs and making sure they work.”

ya that surprised the heck out of me too.

I’m with you both on that. So much for the “evil empire” poop that washes up on the COW shores from time to time. There may be some misdirection in the way they’ve chosen to market the CC, but I feel that ultimately there will be a solution which is fair, without killing Adobe’s hopes for remaining a world player in the professional media and graphics realms.

I was surprised by Adobe’s very impressive bugfix in V6.0.4, and was even more so by the speed of V6.0.5 repair.

I must say I’m really impressed with Adobe regarding CS6 products.

    Hi Kevin,

I’m a long term and very satisfied Adobe User – started on Premiere 6.0 many years ago. Now I’m using CC. But I also have CS6 still installed – but unfortunately, all the public links to the latest Premiere Pro CS6 version are offline. Also, updating via the Help Menu and Adobe Update Manager doesn’t work. I’d really appreciate your help!

God bless, greetings from Germany, keep up the good work

Updating is only possible if you have the update patch from some years ago.

Thank your very much for your answer. That’s the problem: I do not have this patch as a separate file since it always updated via Adobe Update Manager automatically. Do you happen to have this patch or know of someone who does? Thanks.
