6.0.3 update caused .m2t audio issue!
I recently updated Premiere from 6.0.0 to version 6.0.3 and now my transport streams (.m2t files) have no audio, sort of. The exported video/audio file does play in windows media player but not when I reimport to premiere. Nor does it play on our adserver which plays back ads for broadcast. The server shows a “no audio” file error.
My format is mpeg2 with TS multiplexing, resulting in a .m2t file. Audio is dolby digital format and codec at 48khz, 192 bitrate. Can anyone tell me what’s going on or see if you have the same problem on your system?

Try Help > Deauthorize. Quit Premiere Pro. Then Help > Authorize. See if that works for you.

No luck. I should also mention that I activated the Surcode dolby digital plugin just before I updated to 6.0.3. I don’t know if that has any bearing on the problem. It worked fine before I updated.

I’ll give it a try. Steve at minnetonka (surcode) had the same issue upon selecting TS multiplexing. Thanks for your help.

I just reinstalled premiere and I’m back in business. What is odd is that the current software download is version 6.0.0, the version that worked in the first place. I would think the latest version would be available for download on the adobe website. Oh well, I’m happy to be back in business after a frustrating week. I won’t be updating to .3 anytime soon.
