60 frames per second mpeg render
Using Vegas Pro 8, I see there is a mpeg2 render setting for 59.94 and 60 progressive frames per second, but when I try to render I just get an error. Anyone had any luck doing this? My original files were 6meg 1920 – 1080 targa files that play back at 60 frames per second from a DVS video server. Vegas couldn’t handle the almost 20,000 targa files so I had to render as 2 Sony YUV uncompressed avi’s at 60P which it did, but when I try to render both as one 60p mpeg, it errors on me. There are project settings for double ntsc 59.94 fps, render as avi double ntsc 59.94 and mpeg 59.94 and 60 progressive. All worked except for the mpeg. I’m trying to make an inexpensive spare server in case this $120,000.00 DVS server fails. Any takers out there on this? I’d hate to have to settle for 30P at this point.
