    Have a look below at the thread on shooting at 60FPS and getting 25P out of the 1200A by Matthew Romanis.

    Your situation – an SD outcome – is perfect for this “anomaly”

    I will confidently this Sunday shoot 60fps a show car for Sydney Motorshow knowing I can play with ramping later on in a promo clip and deliver a news VNR clip at SD Pal 576i immediately

    Sound travels as well.

    The deck when downconverting to 576i seems to creat exactly that disregarding the flags.

    TRY IT!! Shoot 60fps set deck to downconvert, capture 25fps 567i and see what happens.

    As far as your off speed stuff use the FRC as the software retiming/downconversions are soft and edgy in comparison.
