    I am having an issue with editing Canon 5D video footage.

    I tried to edit the footage in it’s native codec and I get several playback issues (stuttering video, etc). Also, when I try to render anything it is giving me a file I/O error when the render is almost complete.

    I have also tried to change the codec to ProRes and a few others. Nothing seems to work well.

    Overall I am basically unable to apply any effects to the edit that require a render because of this I/O issue.

    Any workflow suggestions or settings that have worked well with any of you?
