I’m looking for buy a 5D to shoot in the PAL world.

Does anyone know of a workflow that I can use to get the 5D footage looking good on PAL LCD and Plasma screens?

There are several tools for converting standards.

Apple Compressor (Use Advanced Format Conversion Group)
Reframe (I just started playing with it) – https://www.miraizon.com/products/reframefeatures.html
Nattress – Standards Conversion FCP plugin

Are you shooting synced sound or using camera sound?

Using sync’ed sound – Am on a windows system too so compressor won’t work 🙂

    The Reframe is cross Platform

MPEG Streamclip is a free solution as well

I don’t know if MPEG StreamClip runs on a PC, but I’m using on a Mac, it is faster and I find a little better than Compressor 3.5.

Its also extremely easy to use.
