    I have a 5d mk ii.

I just bought a phottix TR-90 intevelometer to do time-lapse.

I plug it in, and have spend hours trying to get this to work… I found an opine tutorial that showed me how to set it up, but when I plug into my 5d and set it to go, the counter will count down to the first time it should fire, the. It just does rapid fire… Immediately one after the other.

I have tried setting the interval settings from seconds apart to hours… No diffence…

Im at my wits end. I’ve tried the camera in Av and manual mode. Same thing.

The really odd thing is that it WILL work just fine in the fully automatic setting on the camera.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks

Make sure your shooting mode is set to “Single” instead of “Continuous”. Look up how to do this in the manual if it isn’t immediately apparent.
