5D mkiii re-positioning the magnify button
Hey Everyone,
As I think everyone agrees, the new location of the magnify button is an infuriating change on the Mark 3 (on the 7d it’s right there at your thumb, where you can punch in easily to confirm focus before hitting record). Moving it to the left side makes it pretty much useless.I’ve read that there’s a way to re program this to a better spot. Any truth to this?

Yes, you can. Under Custom Controls in the menu, you can assign the SET button to magnify. Much better that way!
