5D Mark III interlaced footage
I’m fairly new to shooting video w/the 5D III and recently encountered something I thought was odd. From everything I’ve seen, the 5D shoots progressive, but the project I’m working on in FCP 7 is reading the clips with an upper field dominance. I shot 1920 30 All I frame. I can’t find anything in the menu settings for interlaced/progressive and thought all footage was progressive. And info would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible your timeline is set up as 29.97? 30p isn’t a broadcast frame rate IIRC so it might interlace for output to your external monitor.
