5.7.2 hardware down convert
After upgradeing to the 5.7.2 my miltibridge extreme now displays DVCproHD correctly but now it no longer displays HD and down converted SD at the same time. The hardware down conversion to the analog output seems to be at fault.

I’m glad the update has solved that problem.
Multibridge Extreme has only ever had hardware down conversion of HD1080 material. If you want to down convert HD720, you will need to use software down conversion. Does this explain what you are seeing?

No, I knew that it only did simultanious HD and SD dispplay via hardwar with 1080i material. BTW, I finally got both that and the DVCproHD scaling to work at the same time by cycling the power on the MBE twice. I guess it is a good idea to cycle the power when other solutions do not work.
