    Hi guys,

I have a 550D/Rebel T2i that I use for a lot of handheld video work (using a Hauge mini-motion stabilizer).
I use a nifty fifty (Canon 50mm) lens for a lot of this work, but I’m having an issue. The focus ring is tiny!

I was wondering if there is some kind of adaptor that fit over the ring some how enlarging it to make manual focusing a lot less fiddly?

I’ve seen those lens gears available for larger shoulder mounted rigs, just wondering if there’s a simpler solution for hand-held work?

    Thanks in advance,

I use the DFocus rig, and leave the gears permanently on my lenses. Works fine.

    Thanks for that.

Before I buy the gear, do you know if you can adjust the distance of the gear from the focus ring?

Would be really good to have it higher up than shown in the promotional images, and looks like you can add longer nails to achieve the effect.

Yes, it came with different size plastic screwnuts that hold it various distances from the focus ring. Works just fine.
