525 23.98p with KONA 2?
I replaced a Decklink HD card with a KONA 2 on our main online workstation and now I am realizing that I overlooked an important feature of the BM cards: SD 23.98p capture! I just assumed it was there but AJA does not provide a 525 23.98 digitizer. It wouldn’t even have to remove 3:2 pulldown on the fly (like the BM and Aurora cards do) as I can feed it 525p out of the D5 deck. Very dissappointing! Needless to say reverse telecine with Cinema Tools takes a looong time.

KONA 2 does perform this function:
You need to load the “AJA KONA 2- NTSC 23.98 8 Bit Uncompressed” or “AJA KONA 2- NTSC 23.98 10 Bit Uncompressed” Easy Setups. We will do the 3:2 Pulldown removal automatically.
