5.21 not installing plugins and presets

Is there any chance that you have Premiere Pro 1.0 installed on your machine as well as Premiere Pro 1.5?

But I’ll do a search and see if they are being installed in some other apps. plugins.

No Matt, I give up.

This box has run fine for a couple of months with earlier versions.

I reinstalled Pro, and its 1.51 update, nuked any registry entries related to premiere 6.0 (uninstalled long ago), but neither 5.2 nor 5.21 will install their presets and plugins. I had to move the files manually to their respective directories. 5.2 installed fine on one of our new systems a couple of weeks ago. Who knows.

I don’t remember if 5.1 does the same thing, but the installer copy presets into the settings folder of ppro…. but not in your language folder.
If it’s this issue, just copy/move the black magic settings folder in your country path! (FR, Uk ,Ge, JA…)

settings path of ppro :
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere Pro 1.5\Settings
you will found a black magic folder here, just after instalation

Thanks Oscar but it isn’t installing the presets or plugins at all. I have to move them from the Black Magic directory into the repective folders in Preiere’s directory. I have it working.
