I sent my video / audio file to Soundtrack Pro to work with 5.1 and animation of the sound. I exported it back to Final Cut Pro. As I open it, it has an extreme volume, the channels of the speaker set up has changed, and the background sound which I programmed to come from two of the speakers seems to have gone to the speakers where the dialogue was directed. So the dialogue is in 3 speakers, and 2 of the speakers are silent.

when I play it from Soundtrack Pro everything is as it should be.

Anyone know how I can fix this?

Your FCP sequence has to be setup to output multi channels (at least 6). The default is a stereo mixdown.

Next you have to patch the channels to the correct outputs. Right mouse click next to the lock icon for each track and select the correct output channel foe each track.
