  5.1 issues FCPX

  New issues with sound. First off, they still didn’t fix wave file issue I posted about which I have made them aware of.

  Now for something even worse. When working with projects with numerous tracks (or w/e fcpx calls them) channel assignments down stick.

  Tracks set for default music (all 5 channels) will play mono. In short channel assignments do not stick, they will change at random.

  Second. The limiter plug does not transgress correctly with the audio meter.

  Third, the built in channel EQ frequency analyzer in way off, not an accurate display.

  You’ve been warned if you plan to mix surround.
